Long tail provitional co

R1 purl color A

Rs slip 1 purl wise*  knit 1 B color hold yarn in back slip 1 purl wise* repeat until end.
Ws slip 1 purl wise * kint 1 b color hold yarn in front slip 1 purl wise* repeat til end.
Rs Knit alll stitches color A
Ws Purl all stitches color A
Repeat 4 these rows.

Small Hand Bag

Part one make yarn from 2 t shirts.
Bought 2 3x shirt from michaels for 6 dollars 12/4/2015

You may need to adjust needle size because your making your own yarn

Buy  9 inch closer first so u can gauge your size.

Needles US 13  9mm
9 inch pocket closer
Woven stitch
Vikkel braid

Co 23
Purl first row
Knit 5 rows stocking net decrease 2 stitches last  purl row

Rs Vikkel braid

Start woven stitch wrong side. ( need odd number of stitches)
Work woven stitch for 13 rows

 Rs Purl next row this should be about one shirt.

Ws knit row  start new shirt.

 Rs Work 13 rows woven stitch

 Rs Vikkle

Purl next row
Increse. To 23
Wotk 5 rows stocking net.
Bind off 
Sew together








Owl Wrist Warmers

'IKnit in a round.

Needles 10.5 us circular

Yarn

Pattern uses US moss stitch
Lion Brand Hometown #6 split the ball in half to guaranteed to make 2

Cast on 22


Row 1 and 2  Knit 1, Purl 1 reapeat  Until end of row in a round.
Row 3 and 4 Purl 1 Knit 1 repeat until end of row.

Repeat. Rows one through 4  four times ( a total of 16 rows )

This is the thumb gusset
Turn piece and knit like it is a flat piece for 4 rows 

Then knit in round row one through 4 twice ( a total of 8 rows) yarn left for the owl eyes and tuffs of ears.

Bind off purl wise.

To start eyes make 4

I split the hometown yarn scrap into four sections.  Using one section Crotchet a circle with size f hook.
Chain 3 triple crochet into bottom loop 11 times. Slip stitch into chain stitch. This makes the iris.

I used a off white sports yarn for the white part of the eye.  Make 4
F hook
Chain 3 triple crochet in bottom loop 15 times. Slip stitch into chain stitch
Row 2 chain 1, single crochet into triple stitch, two single crochet into each triple crochet stitch. Slip stitch into last stitch.
Pupil: chain 3 join stitch. Make 4

Beak make 2

Chain 9
Skip first chain single chrochet into next stitch and every other chain stitch total 7 single crochet
And one chain single crochet.
Turnchain one
.Decrease one by single crochet first and second stitch together.  7 
single crochet. Chain one turn.
6 single crochet chain one 
7 single crochet chain one 
.Decrease one by single crochet first and second stitch together. 6 single crochet. Chain one turn.
6 single crochet chain one 
Decrease one by single crochet first and second stitch together. 5 single crochet. Chain one turn.
5 single crochet chain one 
Decrease one by single crochet first and second stitch together. 4 single crochet. Chain one turn.
4 single crochet chain one 
Decrease one by single crochet first and second stitch together. 3 single crochet. Chain one turn.

Pick the best point for the  point that shows.  if it looks other points lookslightly wonky just hide them under the eyes.


Save all scraps until done to make tuffs for owls ears. 

First sew on beaks, shape them so they appear to be coming off the surface.
Make sure thumb holes point at each other. Before starting to sew on parts. 

Then off white eyes covering part of the beak.
Then irises 
Then pupil 

Then make feet with white yarn at bottom.

Tuffs for ear split yarn so it looks fluffy.
