Large knitting throw

Made with roving wool superwash

Bought 7 pounds.

I  lightly felted split the wool in half.

Needles were made with PVC piping 

1 1/4 inch

Cost about 5 dollars the man in that department cut the 10 foot pipe in half for me. Cover the ends with duck tape. 
Felted wool in thirds i used the washing machime but watched it very cafefully the ends over felted my first try. 
Best smelling wool ever. I did thirds Mostly bc i didnt have enough old sheets to do more. 
The smell was even better than processsed yarn it may be bc it superwash i never buy that type.

Red heart super saver

Needles size: US  10.5 circular needles mine are about 48 inches

                    US    9  circular needle mine are about 38 inches (5.5 mm)

Gauge made for Australian boots

Size 16.5 inches long, cuff about 2 inches inside boot about 3.5 inches

RCS : (right cross stitch : worked over two stitches) : yarn over, knit one, slip those two stitches from right needle to left needle, pass the third stitch on left needle from left to right, letting it fall off the needle, slip the two remaining stitches from left needle to right needle

LCS : (left cross stitch : worked over two stitches) : making sure your working yarn is placed at the back of your work, slip the first stitch purlwise, knit one, yarn over, pass slipped stitch over knitted stitch and yarn over, letting it fall off the needle, two stitches remaining 

If you are useing only one skein. It will take exactly one skein of yarn so if you want it as long as possible split the skein in half before starting.

Hold yarn doubled 

Make 2

Cast on 50 stitches

My tail was 56 inches

Long Tail method 

Work in round be careful not to twist

Foundation row knit 1 purl 1 

R1 of pattern 

(LCS, knit 1) 15 times LCS

R2 knit 2 (RCS knit 1) 16 times 

R3 (knit 1 LCS) 16 times knit 2

R4 (RCS knit ) 15 times RCS

R5 knit 2 (LCS knit1) 16 times

R6( knit 1 RCS) 16 times k2

Repeat 

R1, R2, R3

Then knit 1 rows

Switch to size 9 needles 

Then i switched to redheart super saver yarn off white looks like the fur inside you can still use other oringinal color.

Knit 2 rows

Knit 1 more row (decreasing 6)knit 6 k2 tog, knit 6 k2tog, k7 k2tog, k6 k2tog, k6 k2tog, k7 k2tog knit 

Knit 1 purl 1 for 5 rows

Knit knits and purl purl next row 

Row 8 (decrease 6 ) returning to  k1 p1 pattern if you see 2 knit together knit them together if you see 2 purls together purl them together

I bound off but u may continue knitting if you want a longer inside boot part
